Healer: Introduction and Synopsis
Healer (Hangul: 힐러) tells the story of Seo Jung-hoo who works as a secret messenger. He has the code name Healer because Seo Jung-hoo has never shown his true identity as a reliable secret messenger. Seo Jung-hoo teamed up with a hacker to carry out his work. Healer’s clients are elites who pay high fees for their services. When a news anchor named Kim Moon-ho uses the services of Seo Jung-hoo, the main conflict in the drama Healer begins. Kim Moon-ho apparently asked Healer to get a DNA sample from Chae Young-shin. But over time, Healer got a new task to spy on Chae Young-shin every day. Chae Young-shin herself has a dark past. The innocent girl was abandoned by her biological parents near the trash can. Chae Young-shin was then adopted by and lived together with a foster father. Seo Jung-hoo found out that his past was connected to Chae Young-shin and Kim Moon-ho on the reconnaissance mission. The allegation began when Seo Jung-hoo found past photos of 5 friends who were scattered. The photos later became the starting point of an investigation into his father’s death. Healer ended on February 10th, 2015, leaving a deep impression on the fans. The Healer himself doesn’t seem willing to give up his role either. But Ji Chang-wook still said goodbye to his role. Ji Chang-wook expressed his sadness at parting with Healer via Instagram. He uploaded a photo of himself wearing Seo Jung-hoo’s costume while serving as a Healer. “Goodbye!” he wrote briefly. Previously, Ji Chang-wook also took a photo of his room in Healer during the last shoot and uploaded it to Instagram.
